Acceptable Use Policy

What you may not do with Chronos.

Scope

This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to you, the people in your org, the agents and programs you connect, and the apps you build on Chronos.

Content

Don’t store, process or distribute through Chronos anything that:

  • is illegal where you are or where we are, or that you have no right to use;
  • sexually exploits or endangers children;
  • infringes others’ intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
  • is malware, or is meant to deceive people into giving up credentials or money (phishing, fraud);
  • promotes or facilitates terrorism or violence against people.

Security and abuse

  • Don’t access accounts, projects or data that aren’t yours, or try to.
  • Don’t probe, scan or test the service’s vulnerability without our written permission; report what you find instead (see Security).
  • Don’t interfere with the service or other users: overload it on purpose, attack it, or get around its limits, quotas or security.
  • Don’t use Chronos to attack, scan or flood other systems.
  • Don’t share credentials so others can avoid getting their own accounts, or resell access without our agreement.

The service itself

  • Don’t make multiple accounts to get more of the free plan, or to come back after we ended your access.
  • Don’t use the free plan for mining cryptocurrency or for workloads that use resources out of proportion to a database (for example, file hosting or bulk storage of media).
  • Don’t scrape the site or the API at a rate that burdens it.

Chronos Auth

  • Give your app’s users a privacy policy that says how you use their data, and get any consent the law requires.
  • Don’t use sign-up to collect accounts for spam, or create accounts in bulk to abuse other services.

Agents

The agents and programs you connect are held to this policy as you are. Don’t direct an agent to do through Chronos what you may not do yourself.

Enforcement

If we reasonably believe this policy has been broken, we may remove or disable the content, limit or suspend access, or end the account, as the Terms say. Where we reasonably can, we tell you first and give you a chance to fix it. We may report illegal activity to the authorities.

Reporting

Report abuse of Chronos to legal@2090.tech, with what you saw and where.
